'Ted Lasso' Little People Collector Set Scores Big With Families

Ted Lasso fans can share their love for the Apple TV+ comedy with their kids. Fisher-Price and Warner Brothers Consumer Products have teamed up with their own set of football stars. The Ted Lasso Little People Collector set is like ice cream and Billy Joel and does not disappoint. (Fans will recognize the quote!)

The set includes five gameday-ready characters from the Emmy-winning show who have proven to be fan favorites. The lineup features Rebecca Welton, Keeley Jones, Coach Beard, Roy Kent, Sam Obisanya, and—of course—the always positive head coach Ted Lasso himself, complete with his signature mustache.

But the characters are only the tip of the iceberg with the set. Lasso once said, "I do love a locker room. Smells like potential." The box the characters come in is a locker room. Fisher-Price introduced the Little People Collectors Line in 2019. It mashes up the iconic Little People form-factor with entertainment, pop culture, and sports icons. Previous launches have featured characters from Golden Girls, RuPaul, The Office, winter Olympians, and inspiring women.

For the unfamiliar, Ted Lasso debuted on August 14, 2020, and follows Lasso, an American football coach who sets out to tackle soccer when he's hired as the manager of a squad in London. Jason Sudeikis, who helped develop the series, stars as Lasso. It received 20 Emmy nominations in 2021, making it the most nominated first-year series in the history of the award show. It took home seven trophies, including Outstanding Comedy Series and Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series for Sudeikis.
