Daniel Craig may be known as 007 to movie-goers worldwide, but early last month, he became the dad of a newborn daughter with his wife Rachel Weisz. The British actor stepped out wearing his bundle of joy, and Piers Morgan jumped to dad shame Craig, tweeting that he was "emasculating James Bond" by wearing his L.O. in a paparazzi shot. And to that, Morgan argued that Craig is, in fact, not "carrying" his daughter in the photo, but wearing an "emasculating papoose" aka carrier, and "James Bond would never use a papoose to carry his babies."
Thankfully, much of Twitter -- and many dads -- fired back at Morgan's antiquated, sexist criticism of Daniel Craig with perfect rebuttals and adorable selfies with their kiddos. Even fellow famous dads, like actor Chris Evans, hopped on the clapback wagon.
The child's mother carries the child for 40weeks, sometimes more before it enters this world. We as men should be able to carry them afterwards to show our support. Cheers to these adorable, proud fathers for putting Piers Morgan in his place! Their strong response only goes to show that Morgan's take is so old school, it's embarrassing.
