She is the author of Bedtime Math’s nightly online math problems as well as four best-selling Bedtime Math books published by MacMillan. The nonprofit is also creator of Crazy 8s, the nation’s largest recreational after-school math club, and Fun Factor, which provides hands-on math activities for the K-5 classroom. Laura also chairs Overdeck Family Foundation, which supports STEM education reform and recently helped launch the New Jersey Tutoring Corps in response to the pandemic.Laura is an alumna and former trustee of Princeton University, where she earned a B.A. in astrophysics. She also holds an M.B.A from the Wharton School and an honorary doctorate from Stevens Institute of Technology.
