Because of budget cuts, the role of music in children's education has come into question lately. Teachers share why they think the class should be a school staple.
[MUSIC] Music is so important to kids in school because it helps them with math, with reading. It brings people together. Now, not necessarily all the time kids are. If you see a kid off to one corner and he's not participating in music but you see that he's moving his foot. You've got a little reaction from the music so I think it's really important to expose your children to music because it's just a whole outlet to many different things. -ks. [MUSIC]
