Easter Egg Cake Pops

These super cute cake pops from the cookbook Rainbow Bakes are shaped like Easter eggs and covered in brightly colored candy melts, just like the gorgeously dyed eggs on in your basket.


Instead of shaping your cake pops into the traditional spheres, mold spoonfuls of cake (a mixture of crumbled cake, butter and sugar) into eggs. After freezing the pops to firm up the shape, roll the 'eggs' in candy melts for the full effect.
