Turn pom-poms and chenille stems into polar bears in a few simple steps. Watch this video to learn how!
-Hi, I'm Amanda Kingloff from Parents Magazine. Today, I'm gonna show you how to make these totally adorable polar bears from just a few, simple craft materials. For this craft you'll need white chenille stems, a marker, scissors, white pompoms in various sizes, a sparkly, white pompom, craft glue or a hot, glue gun and mini black pompoms. First, take 2 white chenille stems and cut them in half. Coil each around the marker until they're about 4 coils high and trim off the excess. This will make your bear's legs. Glue the legs onto a 2-inch white pompom. To make the ears, cut another chenille stem in half. Twist it around the back third of the 1-inch pompom and then make 2 coils to form the ears. Glue the head to the body. To make the face, glue a half inch sparkly, white pompom to the front, lower section of the bear's head, then glue the mini black pompoms as the eyes and the nose. Finish off this cute little guy by gluing a half inch white pompom as the tail. And that's how you make a pompom polar bear.
