The entire park is already wheelchair accessible, and both kids and adults with special needs can play for free. But now, there will be a splash park designed by consultants, doctors, special needs therapists, special education teachers, parents, and caregivers, according to Of course, even if your child doesn't have special needs, Morgan's Inspiration Island seems like a really fun and cool place to play.

Families can enjoy five splash pads and a River Boat Adventure ride, plus food and cooling-off spots. Plus, the park offers complimentary specially- designed waterproof wheelchairs and accessible waterproof strollers, according to its website.

Another special feature that caters to kids with special needs is conditioned water at a warmer temperature so guests with sensitivity to cold can still splash and play. Look for it at the Rainbow Reef!

It's very important that families know Morgan's Wonderland "is not a special-needs park; it's a park of inclusion," according to Gordon Hartman, founder of The Gordon Hartman Family Foundation. He adds in a press release, "Both [parks] were designed with special-needs individuals in mind and built for everyone's enjoyment."

Still, the regular park and water fun land are just more evidence that, thankfully, we are living in an increasingly special needs-friendly world!
