Tina Fey Gives Birth to Baby Girl

Tina Fey, the "30 Rock" star and former "Saturday Night Live" head writer, gave birth to a baby girl, Penelope Athena Richmond, last Wednesday, PEOPLE.com is reporting.  The baby is the second for Fey and her husband, the composer Jeff Richmond.  The couple has a 5-year-old daughter, Alice.

The multiple Emmy-winner joked with Ellen DeGeneres during her pregnancy that she and her husband wanted to wait to discover the baby's gender. "I'm just going to see what it chooses to wear to prom," Fey said at the time.

Fey also recently published a best-selling memoir, "Bossypants," which included the comic gem "A Mother's Prayer for Her Daughter." In it, Fey prayed, "O Lord, break the Internet forever, that she may be spared the misspelled invective of her peers and the online marketing campaign for Rape Hostel V: Girls Just Wanna Get Stabbed."
