Jessica Simpson Announces Her Pregnancy

Singer and fashion designer Jessica Simpson confirmed rumors that she is pregnant with a Halloween announcement delivered to fans via Twitter:  "It's true - I'm going to be a mummy!"  Simpson is engaged to former NFL player Eric Johnson.

Rumors that Simpson was pregnant had been widely circulated in recent weeks as she was repeatedly spotted wearing baggy, midsection-concealing outfits.

The baby will be first cousin to Bronx, the 3-year-old son of Ashlee Simpson and ex-husband Pete Wentz.
