The victims of the unprecedented disaster in Texas can use all the help we can give them!

The images coming out of Houston are heartbreaking. Entire neighborhoods under water. People desperate for relief. Hurricane Harvey has wreaked biblical damage upon coastal Texas, and its fury isn't even done punishing people in the country's fourth largest city.

But there are ways we can help, thankfully. If you want to lend a helping hand, here are some options to consider:

Support J.J. Watt's Hurricane Relief Fund. Houston football player J.J. Watt set up a relief campaign on YouCaring.com and has raised an astounding $1.5 million at time of writing. But with more than 50 inches of rain having been dumped upon the Houston area in just days (that's more than the city gets in an average year!), the more help, the better!

Make a donation to the Texas Diaper Bank. With so many families displaced by the storm of the millennium, basic supplies like diapers are in demand. A word of caution: Me and my kids went online to donate to the diaper bank this morning, and received a message that the site was experiencing so much volume, we'd have to try again later. So you may have to be persistent if you want to help!

We're sending our thoughts and prayers to all the people doing their best to brave Hurricane Harvey's devastation. Here's hoping that so many of us wanting to help offers you a small ray of hope.
