Have you ever heard of a plane designed for kids? It actually flies between Beijing and Shanghai. How cool is that?!

I love to fly with my kids—said no parent ever. But a new plane that’s a partnership between Shanghai Disneyland and Eastern China Airlines may change your mind. The plane’s exterior features Buzz Lightyear on one side and Woody on the other so kids can’t wait to board.  But the theming doesn’t end there—Lotso (the purple bear from Toy Story 3!) is on the ceiling and seatbacks feature Jessie the Cowgirl, Mr. Potato Head, Slinky Dog Dash, and other characters. (Okay, we can see kids quibbling about which character is on their seat.) Flight attendants wear Mickey ears, and we’re betting some kids will too.

The plane currently flies between Beijing and Shanghai, where Disney just opened Toy Story Land. It's expected to eventually cover other routes in China.

If a vacation across the globe isn’t in the budget, you will soon be able to visit Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Orlando. The new theme park section, which will include a Slinky Dog Dash family coaster and a Woody’s lunchbox-themed restaurant, will open on June 30th. For West Coasters, Disney’s California Adventure in Anaheim will debut a Toy Story neighborhood. It’s just one of several new neighborhoods in Pixar Pier, which will also have an Incredibles-themed coaster.

So what do you say, United, Delta, American, Jet Blue—how about upping your game and making the flight to Orlando or Anaheim as much fun as the parks are?
