The frozen treat may be hard to find, but one sip will remind you that your kids aren't the only ones on vacation. Here's where to find Rum-Spiked Dole Whip at Disney.
Tracking Down a Rum-Spiked Dole Whip at Disney Parks Is Every Parent’s Key to Survival
You know what we love about the Disney Parks? They always come to the rescue with much needed parent-friendly perks that get us through hours of waiting in line under the hot sun with a bunch of screaming kids. Don’t get us wrong, we are just as happy to be there as the next person, but this isn’t a relaxing, all-inclusive tropical vacation—it’s Disney, and sometimes you just need a solid drink to get you by. That’s why we are going to help you track down the sometimes hard to find rum-spiked Dole Whip, because you deserve to feel like you’re on vacation, too.
The non-dairy pineapple treat comes in a soft-served swirl—all thanks to Dole—with a heavy pour of rum for extra fun. Of course, you can just purchase the Dole Whip (minus the booze) for any sweet-toothed little one.
According to Scary Mommy, you can try your luck in Anheim exclusively at Disneyland Hotel’s The Coffee House.
Thankfully, your options are a little less limited at the Orlando park. You can stop by Tamu Tamu Refreshments in the Africa-themed area of the Animal Kingdom to get your fix. Trader Sam’s Tiki Terrace in the Polynesian Village Resort and Sam’s Grog Grotto provides the same tropical rum drink under the pseudonym, Barbancourt Pango Rhum. Lastly, EPCOT offers the rum-spiked Dole Whip during the Flower and Garden Festival at the Pineapple Promenade booth. The hunt will surely be worth the payoff.
Cheers, all you vacationing moms and dads! Chances are your child has 10 more pages of their autograph book left and they are hell-bent on tracking down every single mascot—we recommend double fisting.
