Parents, we have all learned that having babies means hoarding everything from toys and equipment to all the clothes your child doesn’t fit into anymore. Yes, we want to cherish those memories forever but let’s get real—it’s just too much stuff. Although leading baby supply chain, Babies “R” Us may have provided a lot of that clutter, they are offering to take it back, with some added incentives.
Babies “R” Us is hosting their annual Trade-In event starting Friday, February 16, and this opportunity is a no-brainer. In exchange for used products such as car seats, infant swings, strollers, bouncers, jumpers, walkers, travel systems, high chairs, play yards, bassinets, cribs, toddler/twin beds, crib/toddler mattresses, clothing, clothing accessories and shoes, you will receive 25 percent off all eligible purchases. All you have to do is head down to your local Babies “R” Us and Toys “R” Us store.
One major goal of the Trade-In event is to get recalled products out of homes. By taking these products in, Babies “R” Us is preventing them from being recycled through consignment shops and charities.
This is the eighth year Babies “R” Us is hosting the Trade-In event, and due to past success, the retailer is stepping up their game for 2018. Clothing donations are now accepted as Babies “R” Us pairs with charities throughout the nation to help children in need. They have also included more eligible gear and furniture items for their trade-in. Even if you don’t trade, you can still receive a 15 percent discount on one piece of gear or furniture just by visiting their online site. In addition, a Toys “R” Us credit card gets you 30 percent off a single item—all the more reasons to be a part of the cause.
The event, which runs until Sunday, March 18, gives parents a month to start off spring cleaning season the right way. Let Babies “R” Us take all the clutter off your hands, while you save money.
