The Dreamworks flick has been turned into a new series called Boss Baby: Back in Business, premiering on the streaming platform in April.
If your L.O.s are big fans of Dreamworks Animation's Boss Baby, or even if they have yet to be introduced to the funny flick for kids, Netflix has exciting news. The streaming platform will debut a new TV series called Boss Baby: Back in Business on April 6.
In a press release, Netflix shared the gist of the series: "Boss Baby, with the help of his big brother and partner-in-crime Tim, continues to navigate the cutthroat corporate jungle gym of Baby Corp., while angling to achieve the near-impossible: the work-life balance of a modern career baby." The show is executive produced by Brandon Sawyer who also did Penguins of Madagascar. And as far as the voice cast goes, Miles Bakshi—who voiced older brother Tim in the movie—will return, but voice actor JP Karliak stars in original Boss Alec Baldwin's place.
The trailer offers a glimpse at just how adorable the show is sure to be.
The original film was based on a 2010 picture book by Marla Frazee. Eight years later, the Boss Baby story has certainly come a long way. Families everywhere are sure to enjoy seeing where it goes from here!
