A homemade sheet cake was iced to look like a book -- and it's easy to DIY! Put icing in a zip-seal bag, snip a corner off, and squeeze.
A banner and a large number five announced the birthday girl's age. Stacks of books were tied with ribbon and topped with a balloon as décor.
Paige's mom made goody bags, by stitching storybook pages together on three sides, and filled them with gummy "bookworms."
