Saddle Up

Each kid (that's Owen in the left) got a homemade horse, cowboy hat, sheriff's badge, and bandanna.

Bandanna Bonanza

It's so easy (and cheap) to make a garland with knotted bandanas.

Cowboy Cake

Danyelle's sister-in-law, Alicia, whipped up this cowboy boot-shaped dessert for the occasion.

Kick up some rootin' tootin' birthday fun! All it takes are a few simple cuts and some easy frosting techniques to make this cool cowboy boot cake.

Western Wardrobe

When the kids arrived, they each got to wear their own hat, bandana, and sheriff's badge.

Boot Loot

Each kid got a homemade bag to collect the pinata candy. Danyelle replaced the basic drawstring of a cotton bag with twine and used Heat n' Bond (5-yard roll, $6.50), an iron-on adhesive, to create bandanna decals.
