What You'll Need

  • Air-hardening modeling clay
  • Rolling pin
  • Wax paper
  • 2-1/2-inch biscuit cutter
  • Skewer
  • Sequins
  • 1/4-inch-wide ribbon
  • Scissors

Step 1

Roll the clay out on wax paper until it's 1/8 inch thick. Use the biscuit cutter to make a circle.

Step 2

(Parent) With the skewer, punch a hole about 1/4 inch from the edge.

Step 3

Let your child press sequins into the clay, alternating colors in concentric circles. When the clay has dried, thread the ribbon through the hole.
