Design the perfect nursery for your little bundle of joy. Some of our favorite bloggers share photos of how they put their baby girls' rooms together.
One of the most exciting parts of your pregnancy is dreaming up your little girl's nursery. We asked some of our favorite bloggers to share photos of their daughter's rooms. If you want to go the traditional pink room, take a page from Sam Sherman. She shopped Valentine's day sales to find fun pink décor. When decorating a pink room, accent walls with black and white décor. These colors can look soft when paired with a pastel-colored wall. Jesse Christian painted a white dresser shades of pink for a trendy look that fits a traditional room design. Bold color makes this dresser stand out. Megan Cain transformed the white dresser with spray paint to match the room's color scheme. If you don't want overwhelming color in your baby's nursery, paint the walls neutral and add punch with patterned bedding. Or, you can add a funky rug for a pop of color like Megan did here. Remember to keep the crib bumper-free and remove everything from it before bedtime. If you don't have a statement piece, create a DIY wall collage using exciting fabric and embroidery hoops. For a big attention grabber, put wall paper on an accent wall to make it stand out. Or, add a girly feel to a neutral-colored nursery with a frilly crib skirt. No matter how you designed the nursery, your little girl will always feel at home.
