Tips for choosing a baby swing.
Hi. I'm Hallie Scheflin from American Baby Magazine. And I'm here to tell you what to look for in a swing. Ideally, a swing should have several speed options and many ways to turn the seat. That is so you can find the position and speed that your baby loves. If you don't mind the seat only moving one way, a portable swing takes up much less space. Some swings have the option of running on batteries and also from an outlet. Newborns and infants up to 4 months old seem to love swings the most. Many will leave in sleep there. Though it's recommended that you keep trying to lay a sleeping maybe in his crib so that it gets used to falling asleep there. He can't sleep in the swing forever.
