How to Fold Baby Clothes

Tips to help you fold and organize your baby's tiny garments.

Bodysuits Lay the garment on its front, then fold the sleeves in so they lay on the back of the bodysuit. Fold it in half, bringing the bottom of the bodysuit up to the top.

Shirts Lay the garment on its front, then fold the sleeves in so they lay on the back of the shirt. Fold the bottom of the shirt to the middle of the back. Bring the bottom of the folded portion to the top of the shirt.

Pants Fold one leg over so it sits on top of the other leg, then fold the bottom of the pants up to the waistband.

Footies, coveralls, and rompers Lay the garment on its front, then fold the sleeves in so they lay on the back of the garment. Fold the legs up so that they lay on the back of the garment, then fold the entire garment in half, bringing the bottom up to the top.

Dresses It's best to hang dresses.

Get organized Sort clothes according to age/size and place each grouping in separate, labeled storage containers.
