Having a baby shouldn't feel like the end of the world—or the end of your career.

There's an ongoing crisis in this country for working parents, according to advocacy group Make It Work. And it's...babies!

Yes, babies. They are taking over our lives! And making it nearly impossible for us to work, because they need food, shelter, and dun, dun, dun, attention!

In a hilarious new zombie parody video starring Jeff Meacham and Kellee Stewart, we see how "dangerous" babies are to working parents' effectiveness in the work place. After all, child care is so expensive and unreliable for many parents, they have no choice but to bring their kids to work, where they will inevitably wreak havoc.

"No one is safe," warns a reporter, dressed in a hazmat suit to protect himself from the baby outbreak. That's right; apparently now the lack of family-friendly leave policies in this country is affecting men as well as women!

Then, a briefing from the White House alerts us that the baby pandemic has ended everywhere except the U.S.! After all, every other industrialized country in the world seems to get that working parents are struggling. And they have implemented something called "paid family leave" and another thing called "affordable child care."

That's why this upcoming election is so important for so many people. Child care reform is an urgent problem facing this nation, and more and more celebs are lending their voices to uplift the cause.

"With Halloween coming up—and with an election season that has felt a bit surreal—we tapped into the outbreak theme with this video to point out the absurdity of America’s lack of paid family leave and affordable child care," Vivien Labaton, the co-founder and co-director of Make It Work, told us. "And as funny as the video is, it is meant to spotlight the real and legitimate fears that working parents have about being able to care for their loved ones and earn a living. Family and work should not be at odds with one another, and yet our workplace policies too often force people to make an impossible choice between the two. We hope this video encourages people to call out the absurd fact that the U.S. is one of the only countries in the world that doesn’t guarantee paid leave to workers and call on our elected leaders to rectify the situation."

Let's hope this call to action, and others, encourage high voter turnout (are YOU registered?), and spur action on the part of the federal government. Before it's too late...and babies take over!!!

Save yourselves!
