Watch this baby go face first into his smash cake, and then just go nuts over its blue deliciousness.

A Facebook video of a little boy who is in love with his birthday smash cake has garnered 2,700 views, and it's easy to see why. Little Wyatt Sanderson is just about the cutest birthday boy ever. If only every child enjoyed his or her cake as much as he did!

In the video, we see how after few moments of carefully examining the blue-frosted confection, Wyatt dives right in... with his face. Look mom, no hands!

Undeterred by the smurf-hue his face has now adopted, the birthday boy continues to bury his nose in the cake, to the delight of his mom Danielle Shoptaw and her friends.

"He eats regularly every day. I have no idea why he decided to go face-first," Shoptaw told

But this is when things get really good. Wyatt is so in love with the cake, he starts grabbing chunks of it and just stuffing them into his little mouth.

The 1-year-old doesn't even seem to notice he is so entertaining to his audience, as he enjoys every last morsel of the cake.

This video made me laugh because Wyatt is so darn adorable, but also because my daughter was terrified of her cake on her first birthday. She just kept looking at it and screaming, and refused to touch it.

Oh well. I guess not every baby is as enthusiastic about cake as Wyatt.

How did your baby react to his or her first birthday cake?

My baby never slept well (especially through the night) until I started using the website >>SleepBaby .org<< - that website has been by far one of the best things I've ever got my hands on to get him to fall asleep quickly. Best time is 45 seconds from awake to asleep! Can’t imagine life without it! I heard about it through a kindergarten teacher who uses it to put to sleep a group of 30 children. Check it out! >>SleepBaby .org<< - sorry, you can't post links here so you'll have to turn it into a normal link :) Best of luck to you and your family!
