You've Got to Watch These Baby-Wearing Dads Get Funky

Baby-wearing dads at a dance studio's "Mommy Mingle, Daddy Dance" class put on an adorable show for the moms with a choreographed dance routine.

My daughter's Bat Mitzvah was back in 2014, and during the party, she and my husband decided to surprise the crowd by busting out into a choreographed hip-hop routine.

To say they brought the house down would be an understatement. In fact, even though almost two years have gone by, people still come up to tell them how awesome it was pretty much all the time.

There's just something about dads dancing with their kids that feels really cool and special. Which is why I can't stop watching this video of a group of fathers rocking out to "Play That Funky Music" with their babies.

The clip was shot at GroovaRoo Dance in San Diego, California, where all the dudes in the studio's "Mommy Mingle, Daddy Dance" class were apparently putting on a show for the mamas. We're pretty sure that's them whooping it up in the background like they're at a Chippendales show... or maybe Magic Mike.

Can't say that we blame them. Because as the unmistakable sound of Wild Cherry crooning about boogie singers and rock and roll bands filled the air, the dads basically crushed their choreographed line dance—which they performed with their babies strapped into carriers on their chests the entire time.

Oh hi, rockstars!

The small dance school is run by husband and wife team Meeshi Ravi and Amber Anjali, who posted the video to Facebook, where it's been viewed over one million times.

"For a bunch of dads that claim they don't dance, they were 'dancin' and singin' and movin' to groove' just to show these mamas how much they appreciate them," they wrote in the caption. "And that's the greatest love of all!"

Hmm. Is that supposed to be some sort of clue that the proud papa posse will be tackling Whitney Houston next?

Stay tuned.
