There's definitely a little bit of twin mama magic happening here!
Just because breastfeeding is natural doesn't mean it's always easy. Among milk blisters, latch issues, and mastisis, I had a lot of hoops to jump through in order to nurse my son. I managed to persevere, but just barely. And I only had one infant. I can't even begin to imagine what it would have been like to try to feed two babies at the same time. But mom-of-twins Kathryn Johnson makes it kind of look like a breeze. Check out this seriously epic pic of herself tandem breastfeeding babies Cassius and Capri that she shared on Instagram just a few days ago:
"Learning to co-feed my twins!" she wrote in the caption. "I definitely need an extra set of hands to get everything and everyone set up. Thanks to my husband we finally made it happen today. Thought I'd share the magic."
Make that twin magic. I mean, this image is so inspiring and beautiful, it pretty much leaves us in awe. How lucky are those little babes to have such a bada*s mama bear to cofeed them? And we are just loving the way she casually dropped a preemptive strike against all the haters in the last line of her post.
"If it makes you uncomfortable just keep scrolling," she wrote.
