Congrats to the star couple on the birth of their baby girl!
The wait is over!
Chrissy Teigen and John Legend welcomed their baby girl Thursday, April 14—and gave her a simply beautiful name.
"She's here! Luna Simone Stephens, we are so in love with you! And sleepy. Very sleepy," the model shared on Instagram, along with a photo of her daughter's weight on a computer screen: 6 pounds, 11 ounces.

The famously social media-savvy mama hasn't let a little thing like childbirth keep her off Twitter, either.
Over the weekend she tweeted some updates for her fans:
For his part, Legend also took to social media to announce the birth of the couple's first daughter:
(By the way, Legend's real name is John Roger Stephens.)
As of now, the new parents have not shared a photo of baby Luna.
According to People magazine, the famous couple actually decided during the IVF process they wanted to have a daughter. "I've made this decision. Not only am I having a girl, but I picked the girl from her little embryo. I picked her and was like, 'Let's put in the girl,'" Teigen explained.
The first time mom also expressed her hesitancy about continuing to be so open about her private life once her baby arrived, saying, "I am so used to sharing our life that I forget how protective I will be soon. I cannot handle this kind of constant judgement [sic]!"
So I guess we shall see how much insight we get from the family-of-three as to how it's going. Selfishly, I hope Teigen is willing to entertain us with her candor and humor just as frequently now that she's a mom as when she was pregnant.
What do you think of the baby name Luna Simone?
