Move over, Miranda Lambert and Meghan Trainor -- there's a new dynamic duo dominating YouTube. So far, more than 5.7 million people have watched (and probably re-watched) a dog sweetly encouraging a baby who's just learning how to crawl.
In the one-minute video (h/t Today.com), the little girl clumsily moves across the carpet while the family pup looks on. She quickly spots her four-legged friend, sticks out her tongue, and lets out a few squeals. (Adorable!)
It takes her a while to cross the few yards of carpet -- crawling is tough work, after all -- but the dog waits patiently. Finally, when she reaches the halfway point, the pup can't contain himself any longer. He schooches over, stretches his body toward the baby and wags his tail excitedly. Then, in a blink-and-you'll-miss-it moment, he rewards her with the gentlest smooch, er, lick on the face. All together now: Awww!
