"I was completely unprepared," said the mom, who recently started a GoFundMe page to help the family pay for baby supplies.
Kansas mom Danesha Couch just welcomed her third set of twins in a little over two years.
I'll give you guys a minute to let that sink in.
And get this—all of the multiples were conceived au naturel! "People just consider me a freak of nature when I tell them," Couch told Fox News.
The seriously fertile mama gave birth to Dalanie and Darla last month, and the adorable little girls join 1-year-old sisters Delilah and Davina, and 2-year-old brother Danarius. (Sadly, Danarius's twin Desmond died from complications shortly after his premature birth.)
Danesha told Inside Edition she was shocked and hysterical when she found out she was having her second set of twins. "But I put on my mom pants," she said.
Imagine her surprise, then, when less than a year later, it happened again. "I was completely unprepared," she said. "I mean, I was prepared—I had the clothes and everything else—but mentally, I was not prepared. It took me a couple of months to accept."
Can't say we blame her! That's five kids under 3, if you're counting (I know I am!).
And crazily enough, the proud mama hasn't closed the book on having more kids yet! But don't worry—she says she and fiancé Jeffrey Pressler plan to wait awhile. "I love babies," she explained. "But maybe in 10 to 15 years, when these ones are big enough to help."
We think that's a good plan, considering some of her babies have just started walking, and Danesha said she currently goes through about three dozen diapers a day! (If you'd like to help the family out with supplies, please check out Danesha's GoFundMe page).
Still, while the timing may not be perfect, Danesha said she feels incredibly blessed. "I'm really happy that I can even create babies," she explained. "Some women can't do that."
