The "That's Inappropriate" mom has advice for modern moms that will save them tons of heartache—and money!

Meredith Masony, the mom behind one of our favorite blogs, "That's Inappropriate," has some great advice for new moms and soon-to-be moms. Trust us, you need to hear this!

"Relax," the mom-of-three says in a new video posted to her Facebook page. "You do not need to stick a speaker up your vagina!"

Wait, what?

Well, yes. A company called BabyPod has created a speaker system that pregnant women can insert in their lady parts and stream live music so a baby can hear it in utero.

Personally, I was out after the world "insert." And Masony just thinks the entire concept is absurd. She instead recommends the old tried-and-true talking to the belly. Because, "the baby knows you." So a top 40 countdown streaming into your vag is far from necessary. In fact, Masony thinks companies are manipulating new moms to make them think they need all this new, shiny stuff, when in fact, it won't help them at all!

"You'll be okay!" she insists, adding that parenting is hard, but the fact that you got up today to take care of your kids is good enough. Well...I'd say good parenting takes a bit more than deciding to leave your bed.

But I definitely agree with her point that there's so much stuff out there we are led to believe we need to be good moms. From bottle-warmers, to wipe-warmers, to this and that app, to vagina speakers, we could literally spend a small fortune on mom stuff before our babies are even born!

The truth is what a baby needs most is love. And if you can give him or her that, then you are totally nailing this new motherhood thing!
