You know who loves Facebook?
I mean...obviously Mark Zuckerberg loves Facebook. He invented the darn thing. But since becoming a new parent just a few weeks ago, it seems like Mark Zuckerberg REALLY loves Facebook.
Now the Internet king's latest day-in-the-life photo post may have just given the new Star Wars film its biggest promotional push yet.
The awesome pic features daughter Max decked out in Jedi garb for the release of The Force Awakens!
"The Force is strong with this one," Zuckerberg captioned the shot, which showcases his adorable baby girl swaddled in a Jedi-brown blanket with a mini green light saber. On one side is a furry Chewbacca stuffed animal. On the other, a Darth Vader helmet and BB-8 (a droid from the new flick).
Isn't she a little short for a storm trooper?
And is it just me? Or does the two-week-old appear to be throwing some serious shade Vader's way?
Not so far-fetched, considering Max's choice of a Jedi-friendly green light saber, and the fact that Zuckerberg later posted a pic of his dog Beast with a red light saber and the caption: "Beast turned to the dark side."
Hmmm. Do we detect a little disturbance in the Zuckerberg family force?
Pethaps. But there's no denying that Zuckerberg - who's been a parent just a few weeks - has already become the most influential dad on the Internet.
Not only had his little Jedi racked up close to 3 million likes - Martha Stewart, Soleil Moon Frye and Natalie Morales all stopped by to lend their thumbs up - but the post has managed to score about 50,000 comments, many of them commending Zuckerberg on his inherent parenting skills.
"It's so nice to see that even one of the wealthiest men in the world has a great sense of humor and pride of his baby. May the force be with you too beautiful girl," wrote one.
"Love the look over the shoulder at Vader: Father of mine you are not, Mark Zuckerberg it is!" wrote another.
Clearly that guy has been to his share of Comic Cons.
Then there was the commenter who took the opportunity to warn Zuckerberg - of all people - about the potential perils of posting pics of your kids online. "Just a note, as a parent of older children, that they eventually get you back."
Nevertheless, Zuck's post quickly inspired hundreds of commenters to share awesome pics of their own babies decked out in full-on Star Wars regalia.
