Ever wonder what celebs ask for on their baby registries? Thanks to the power of the Internet, we can find out! Just head to the Amazon Baby Registry of TV personality and expectant mama Whitney Port to find out if stars are, in fact, just like us.
So what made the list for the former "The Hills" cast member, who is expecting her first child with husband Tim Rosenman next month? Nested Bean Swaddles, a lambskin baby rug, Pampers diapers, organic baby detergent, Amazon gift cards, bathtime toys, and more. Port is obviously planning on breastfeeding, as the Nursie Slip-On Arm nursing pillow, Kiinde breast milk storage bags, and Simple Wishes D Lite hands-free breast-pump bra are on the registry.
One of my favorite items on this list is the Keekaroo Peanut Changer diaper changing pad Port chose. It's like putting your baby in a little peanut shell every time you do a diaper change! Anything that makes that task more fun is a win in my book. I'm also loving the Rockabye Baby CDs she chose—lullaby renditions of the Beatles and Bob Marley are going to make for some pretty sweet bedtime singalongs.
Port also avoided making any baby-registry mistakes, which is pretty impressive. It's hard not to go overboard and put way too much stuff on a registry, but Port kept hers to just 25 items. Plus, she included some non-infant gear like a Skip Hop 3-stage activity center and some toddler-friendly Avanchy bamboo and silicone bowls and utensils, which she'll need before she knows it!
Port recently celebrated her upcoming birth with a baby shower thrown by her sisters and mother and hosted by Amazon Baby Registry. Fifty of Port's closest friends and family attended the gender-neutral shower—Port and her hubby are keeping the gender a surprise—on the rooftop of the SIXTY Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles where they enjoyed an artisan BBQ dinner, Port's favorite ice-cream sandwiches, and a custom cake Port's sister Ashley created (above), along with custom "funky tropical" florals for the shower.
Keep a look out for Port's new addition to make his or her debut next month!
