If you think nothing could be cuter than 9-month-old quintuplets, think again! Briana and Jordan Driskell, a couple from Kentucky, did a Harry Potter-themed photo shoot with their five little ones, and yep, babies who look ready to head to Hogwarts may very well be the most adorable thing you've ever seen.
The Driskells told People that they dealt with infertility struggles before conceiving their quints Gavin, Zoey, Dakota, Hollyn, and Asher. When they learned that they were expecting five babies, they were understandably excited -- and a little freaked out!
“My husband almost passed out. Both our moms were in the room and his mom went outside and puked twice," she explained. "My mom just couldn’t stop saying, ‘Five?’ Five?’ It was extremely shocking.” The babies were born via C-section prematurely at just 28 weeks on May 2 and spent nearly three months in the neonatal intensive care unit after their birth.
“The hardest part has been watching them go through so much to get where they are now,” Briana shared. “It was extremely hard to watch their tiny fragile bodies go through being intubated/extubated, countless pokes for blood tests, IVs, feeding tubes, cpap machines, xrays, surgeries and so so much more. They are stronger than I ever could have imagined!”
Fast-forward to the babies turning 9 months, and family was over-the-moon to celebrate their healthy, growing brood with this magical photo shoot. They used Baby Booth Box, which is a "photo shoot in a box" service that caters to families with L.O.s up to a year old. Subscriptions come with five props or more that are linked to the theme of the month. “They do really great in front of the camera,” Briana told People. “Things were much more chaotic doing this month’s pictures due to them wanting to roll everywhere and grab everything. ... Wow, was it fun playing dress up with them!”
Once they had the sweet photos in hand, Briana took to Facebook to share the awesome shots.
Congrats to this beautiful family! No doubt these quints are already as brave and strong as the famous young wizards of J.K. Rowling's world.
