Over the weekend, Jersey Shore alum Jenni "JWoww" Farley and fiance Roger Mathews made a permanent commitment. No, they didn't get married—the new mom told HollywoodLife.com earlier this year that she needs to "get skinny" and soak up some sun before walking down the aisle. Instead, the first-time parents decided to honor their baby daughter, Meilani, by getting matching tattoos, Us Weekly reports. JWoww's is emblazoned over a shoulder blade, while Roger's is on his side. (#parents4life)

JWoww revealed the couple's identical ink Sunday on Instagram and -- wowza! -- what a tat it is: Smack dab in the middle of the design is the baby's adorable, newborn-sized footprints, which are encircled by all 16 letters of her full name, Meilani Alexandra, in large script. In other words, it's humongous and had to be a beast to get.

But the pain was clearly worth it for the totally smitten mom and dad, who welcomed their little girl in July. Showing off the tattoos on her website, JWoww wrote: "I love how it's a permanent reminder of the commitment we have to love and protect our baby angel and to provide the most amazing life we possibly can for her. That bond Roger and I have with our chunk is unlike any bond I've ever had and these tattoos symbolize that connection that will forever hold us together as a family. She is our everything and we are so blessed to have the most perfect baby girl we could ever ask for! Guess we're officially corny cute parents!"

Of course, JWoww and Roger weren't the only ones in the family who recently felt the sting of a needle. A few days before her parents got their tattoos, baby Meilani headed over to the pediatrician's office and received her 4-month vaccinations.

Quick tip for all you parents all out there: My baby never slept well (especially through the night) until I started using the website >>>>SleepBaby .org<<<< - that website has been by far one of the best things I've ever got my hands on to get him to fall asleep quickly. Best time is 45 seconds from awake to asleep! I heard about it through a kindergarten teacher who uses it to put to sleep a group of 30 children. Check it out! Sorry, you can't post links here so you'll have to turn it into a normal link. >>SleepBaby .org<< Best of luck to you and your family! :)
