Scarlett Johansson's Baby Girl Has Arrived!

Scarlett Johansson welcomed her daughter today! She was born in New York City. This is Johannsson's first child with fiancé and French journalist, Romain Duriac.

People magazine confirmed that the baby's full name is Rose Dorothy. (Her name seems fitting since it works in English and French! The hardworking and prolific actress didn't announce her pregnancy until March, right after announcing her engagement to Duriac. At the time, Johansson shared her views on being a working mother with The Wall Street Journal magazine, "There must exist a world in which I can balance those things, be able to raise a family and still make a film a year, or work on my own, develop things, do theater. I want to be able to have it all."

But she also noted, "I know that with that there will be some sacrifices...I know that's the struggle with working mothers and successful careers. It happens."
