Kylie Jenner is known for her reality star family and beauty business, and now, being a new mom to baby girl Stormi Webster who she welcomed with boyfriend Travis Scott. After keeping her pregnancy under wraps and announcing that she had given birth in early February, she's unfortunately open to the kind of scrutiny that's reserved for moms in the spotlight. Though she's only a little more than a month into motherhood, Kylie is already being shamed for her signature long nails.

It all began when, on March 1, the 20-year-old took to Instagram and Twitter to share a sweet full-length shot of herself holding baby Stormi. "My angel baby is 1 month old today," she wrote alongside the shot.

Twitter users soon began commenting on Kylie's manicure, asking how she changes diapers with that manicure and shaming her for keeping her nails so long with a newborn in general.

The accusers ultimately concluded that Kylie's mani must mean she's not an involved mom. But Us Weekly reports quite the contrary, with a source saying she's “a very hands-on mom and very involved." Her mother, Kris Jenner, is also on grandma duty quite a bit. "Kris has been spending a lot of time at Kylie’s house since she came home with Stormi,” another source told Us. “Kylie has been a natural at being a mother. However, it has been overwhelming, and Kylie has relied on Kris during these first days at home with Stormi.”

Regardless of insider scoop, it's unfortunate that so many people feel it's necessary to judge a brand-new mom so harshly. No wonder Kylie kept her pregnancy under wraps!

Unfortunately, this surely won't be the last time she has to endure such public shaming. Here's hoping she has an increasingly thick skin for dealing with it—and if not, she can certainly learn how to cope from her older sisters Kim, Kourtney, and family friend Chrissy Teigen who are all veterans of celeb mom shaming by now.
