Louboutin's New Baby Shoes Are as Posh (and Pricey) as You'd Imagine
What does every newborn need? Baby shoes made by Christian Louboutin, of course! And who cares how much they cost, right? Ahem, well, maybe we care.
If you are lucky enough to own a pair of red-soled Louboutins, then you know how expensive the designer shoes can be. Chances are, if you're like me, you stopped purchasing pricey pumps around your second trimester. Because baby stuff costs a fortune, so who can afford shoes for you anymore? And because it's too hard to walk in heels with a burgeoning belly, or a baby hanging off your hip.
But let's just say you have a big baby shoe budget, and are still in love with everything Louboutin, despite your major lifestage change. Then you'll love the new line that is launching November 16, called Loubibaby.
For just $250 (gulp), your baby can soon own her own pair of signature red-soled shoes. The tiny tot shoes are just as stylish as the mommy-sized $700-plus pairs, just much, much smaller. So far, Louboutin has blessed the public with a sneak peek of the satin Mary Janes for baby, available in blue, pink and red. A cute little bow completes the on-trend look.
Loubibaby will also feature a gold Nappa Laminato shoe for the teeniest feet in your house. The line launches, where else, but on Gwyneth Paltrow's lifestyle site, Goop. Don't forget to snag a pair of $945 booties for mama while you're shopping.

However, if baby shoes that cost as much as a crib aren't your scene, you can always just take a red marker and color the soles of the shoes your little one already owns. Or socks, because my baby never really wore shoes...
Would you buy these shoes?
