Kim Kardashian's Diaper Bag Costs HOW MUCH?!?!

Kim Kardashian just revealed the (very, very high) price of the diaper bag she uses for all of Saint's essentials. Spoiler alert: It's in the five-figure range.

Stars: They're not always just like us....at least where their diaper bag choices are concerned.

Case in point: Kim Kardashian West just made an admission about her diaper bag, and well...let's just say it wasn't exactly a bargain find.

The diaper bag the soon-to-be-mom-of-three carries for her son, Saint, costs—wait for it—$23,000, according to Us Weekly. Yup, you read that right. And if you're sitting there saying to yourself "but I thought only Birkin bags carried that sort of price tag," you're right on the money. (No pun intended!) Kim uses the iconic Hermes design to tote her son's diapers, snacks and bottles.

But she has an explanation.

"But the thing is, it’s a really old bag. It was my first Birkin bag that I ever bought," Kim confessed in a post on her app. "But that’s all they had and I just wanted one so badly and I’d saved and saved and that’s all they had and I took it. When I got pregnant I was like, ‘perfect! I’ll use it as a diaper bag.'"

We guess that makes it a bit more...relatable? After all, there are plenty of mamas out there who repurpose old purses into chic diaper bags...maybe most people aren't using Birkins, but to each her own!

It goes without saying that $23,000 is a lot of money to spend on a diaper bag, and that even most people who splurge hard on handbags won't necessarily think to use them as diaper bags (which, as the name suggests, can get dirty).

But let's make one thing clear: Moms have every right to carry whatever they want as their diaper bags. Because contrary to some people's belief, mothers are 100 percent allowed to indulge themselves, to remain stylish, and to do things society doesn't necessarily deem "mom-ish." And if carrying a seriously fancy diaper bag is your thing, go for it.
