It's an early morning addition to the extended Duggar clan: Jessa (Duggar) Seewald and husband Ben welcomed a second baby boy to the family even before the crack of dawn.
The Counting On stars revealed to People that their new baby arrived at 4:26 a.m. and both mom and baby are doing well. "We are so thankful to God for this precious new gift of life and are excited to be a family of four!" the Seewalds wrote in a statement. "Thanks to everyone for your prayers and well wishes!”
Baby boy Seewald joins the reality TV couple's son Spurgeon and when the couple announced their second pregnancy to People, they said, "We are overjoyed to announce that Spurgeon has a new title in life as ‘big brother!’ We are so thankful that God is adding to our family.”
"2017 is shaping up to be a wonderful year already," Jessa and Ben shared. "We know Spurgeon will do a great job in his new role. Having Spurgeon has been such a wonderful blessing, and we cannot wait to see the face of this sweet new baby (or babies!)."
Spurgeon Elliot was named for both 17th-century British preacher Charles Spurgeon and missionaries Jim and Elisabeth Elliot but friends and family have stuck with the nickname "Quincy." Considering the all-around unique combination for their first-born, we can't wait to find out the offical moniker and potential nicknames for his newborn little brother.
