Welcome to Gotham City, Frances!

It's a girl for "Gotham" costars Ben McKenzie and Morena Baccarin, who welcomed their first child together March 2, daughter Frances Laiz Setta Schenkkan.

"All are happy and healthy and appreciate the well-wishes," their reps told USA Today.

The couple is engaged, but not yet married.

This is Baccarin's second child—she already has a 2-year-old son named Julius with her ex, Austin Chick—and McKenzie's first. But the former OC actor told People at the "Gotham" premiere the night before little Frances was born that he was more than ready to rise to the challenge.

"[Being a father] is something I've wanted for a long time," McKenzie said. "I'm excited about all of it, poop, diapers, and everything!"

Wait. He's excited about...poop?! Let's talk to him again in about a month and see how much THAT answer changes.

Baccarin, meanwhile, must be super-happy about the baby's arrival. She told Jimmy Fallon during a recent appearance on "The Tonight Show" that she was pretty much over being pregnant.

"It's a wonderful thing, but get it out," she joked. "Let's get on with our lives. There's things to do, people to see."

We feel you, Morena!

And as for what to make of the baby's long and not-quite-sure-how-to-pronounce-it moniker, according to TMZ, it's actually a mash-up derived from the couple's respective family trees: Frances is McKenzie's mom's middle name, Schenkkan is his real last name, and Setta is Baccarin's mother's maiden name.

We dig it, guys! Congratulations!

Quick tip for all you parents all out there: My baby never slept well (especially through the night) until I started using the website >>>>SleepBaby .org<<<< - that website has been by far one of the best things I've ever got my hands on to get him to fall asleep quickly. Best time is 45 seconds from awake to asleep! I heard about it through a kindergarten teacher who uses it to put to sleep a group of 30 children. Check it out! Sorry, you can't post links here so you'll have to turn it into a normal link. >>SleepBaby .org<< Best of luck to you and your family! :)
