When mama's not home and baby wants the boob, what's a new dad to do?

The struggle was real for new dad Chris Allen when his breastfeeding fiancee Jennifer tapped out to go back to work and sent him in to take over feeding duty.

Why? Because their little baby girl Destiny wouldn't take a bottle. So Allen decided to MacGyver up a solution by cutting a hole in his tank top around the left breast, then sticking a bottle through it, so that only the nipple poked out—just like an actual mama's boob.

Pure. Genius! How has no one ever thought of this before?

The crafty dad shared his awesome trick on Facebook in a short video called "When Mama's Not Home and Baby Wants Boob." He also posted it on the Breastfeeding Mama Talk page, where it quickly began to go viral.

"Mommy had to go to work, so daddy's helping out," Allen explains in the clip. "I guess it's like breastfeeding right? Gotta love it."

Destiny clearly seems to agree—just look at her contently sipping away on that bottle while snuggled up to her dad's chest. Aww! That's a serious Father of the Year contender right there! Although... judging from his hashtags, it appears Allen may be using a Tommee Tippee bottle, so someone might want to warn him about the company's recent sippy cup recall, for future reference.

Allen's video of the nursing hack has been watched more than five million times, and several users have petitioned for the inventive papa to score an appearance on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show"—where we can only imagine the talk show host will bestow upon him a lifetime supply of tank tops with pre-cut holes for "breast" feeding.

That is, unless Regina George waltzes in to try to steal all the credit.

In the meantime, someone should probably start marketing these bad boys. We think the Destiny Tank has a pretty nice ring to it, don't you?

Quick tip for all you parents all out there: My baby never slept well (especially through the night) until I started using the website >>>>SleepBaby .org<<<< - that website has been by far one of the best things I've ever got my hands on to get him to fall asleep quickly. Best time is 45 seconds from awake to asleep! I heard about it through a kindergarten teacher who uses it to put to sleep a group of 30 children. Check it out! Sorry, you can't post links here so you'll have to turn it into a normal link. >>SleepBaby .org<< Best of luck to you and your family! :)
