Chrissy Teigen Goes Out 10 Days After Baby and the Internet Tells Her It's Too Soon

Do you think it was too early for new mom Chrissy Teigen to enjoy a date night with her hubby? Yeah, she doesn't care.

After new mom Chrissy Teigen dared to step out of the house over the weekend without baby Luna, surprise, surprise, the Internet attacked her. But true to form, the model attacked right back.

"I went to dinner. People are pissed. Good morning!" she tweeted Sunday after a barrage of angry comments accused her of leaving newborn daughter too soon.

"i never wanted to leave my daughter, i love her, BUT THAT'S JUST ME" - the passive aggressiveness is real!" Teigen also tweeted, citing one of the comments posted to her account after photos of her out for a date night with her husband John Legend hit the web.

It had been 10 days since Luna's birth, which was apparently way too soon for her to consider having a few hours away, according to some Internet trolls. "Who wants to leave a one week old baby to go to a bar?" one commenter demanded. According to Today.com, Teigen also may have dared to eat while visiting The Nice Guy restaurant and club in West Hollywood Saturday night.

But it seems the gorgeous new mama had the last laugh, sarcastically answering a tweep who asked where her daughter was, "i dunno i can't find her." But Teigen could find Luna, as over the weekend she also shared a breathtaking new image of herself with her adorable new baby, and looked blissfully happy.

It seems this is one star mom who has things covered when it comes to defending herself against her critics, but I would like to add my two cents in her defense. Every mom is ready to leave her baby at a different point. If this was a night where Teigen felt she needed a break, and wanted to enjoy a few hours alone with her husband, who are we to judge? She obviously trusted that Luna was in good hands. And that is her call to make. Not anyone else's.

Besides, we don't know if she cried for hours before walking out the door. And if she did, or didn't, again, who cares? Everyone is different. I didn't want to leave my baby, even with my husband, for months after she was born. But I'm not Chrissy Teigen. I'm me. In case you needed clarification on that.

When did you feel comfortable leaving your baby for the first time?
