This was definitely a proud and maybe even brilliant mommy moment!

Sometimes a mom's gotta do what a mom's gotta do. AmIright? And no one knows this better than star mama Brie Bella, who found herself hand pumping breast milk when she forgot her breast pump heads during a recent overnight trip with her baby.

Bella, whose fans know she typically pumps in the middle of the night for her daughter, Birdie, explains in a new YouTube video that she went to do the deed as usual, and then realized there was a problem.

"I was in a lot of pain," the new mom tells us. The Total Divas star then wonders aloud, "Well, pumps had to just like come into existence not long ago, what did people do back in the day, right Bird?" After consulting her adorable little girl, the star adds, "I was really thinking about this. I was thinking, 'How do they pump cows?'"

So Bella, who has talked candidly about her struggle to conceive, went into the bathroom, opened up her breast milk storage bag, and as she explains, "I milked myself like a cow." Bella then triumphantly reports, "I got six ounces!"

After her #winningatmotherhood experience, Bella offers this advice to other pumping moms: "If you're ever stranded and you don't have your pump... hand pump."

It was definitely a proud mommy moment for the star! And we are happy she shared her story, as it's a great reminder that sometimes, when in doubt, going back to basics is totally the answer.

(And if you're ever in a pinch, here's the secret to hand expressing your milk yourself!)

My baby never slept well (especially through the night) until I started using the website >>SleepBaby .org<< - that website has been by far one of the best things I've ever got my hands on to get him to fall asleep quickly. Best time is 45 seconds from awake to asleep! Can’t imagine life without it! I heard about it through a kindergarten teacher who uses it to put to sleep a group of 30 children. Check it out! >>SleepBaby .org<< - sorry, you can't post links here so you'll have to turn it into a normal link :) Best of luck to you and your family!
