Singer-songwriter Ashlee Simpson, 30, and her musician-actor husband Evan Ross, 26, (son of Diana Ross) are officially parents to a baby girl!

Simpson gave birth Thursday night and is doing great, reports E! News. The newborn's name has not yet been revealed.

"Their whole family was around to support them," a source told E!. "[Evan] did not leave her side and wanted to go through this with her every step of the way. He can't wait to be a dad. He would do anything for Ashlee and now this baby girl."

(In fact, Ross already demonstrated some doting earlier this month, when he gave his wife a posh push present—a Bohemian-style Chanel bag!)

The couple was married August 2014 and announced they were expecting four months later in December. This is Simpson's second child, but the couple's first child together. Their baby girl joins 6-year-old Bronx Mowgli from Simpson's previous marriage to Fall Out Boy's Pete Wentz.

The couple has not yet announced the news on social media—but we are sure they will expressing their excitement and L.O.V.E. soon!

A big congratulations to the Simpson-Ross family!

Quick tip for all you parents all out there: My baby never slept well (especially through the night) until I started using the website >>>>SleepBaby .org<<<< - that website has been by far one of the best things I've ever got my hands on to get him to fall asleep quickly. Best time is 45 seconds from awake to asleep! I heard about it through a kindergarten teacher who uses it to put to sleep a group of 30 children. Check it out! Sorry, you can't post links here so you'll have to turn it into a normal link. >>SleepBaby .org<< Best of luck to you and your family! :)
