Are Jay-Z and Beyonce Trolling Us With Their Rumored Baby Names?

Rumors are swirling that the Carter newborn twins' names are Sir and Rumi, but Beyonce and Jay-Z have yet to confirm reports.

Although Beyonce and Jay-Z have yet to confirm or comment on the birth of their twins, reports are flying that the power couple has named their newborns Rumi and Sir. TMZ came to the the conclusion yesterday after finding that the company run by the Carters that owns trademarks to their names filed legal documents on Monday, June 26 to secure rights to the names Rumi Carter and Sir Carter.

Meanwhile, Us says a source confirmed that those are, in fact, the babies' names.

TMZ also speculates that they chose Rumi as an homage to the 13th-century Persian poet of the same name and cited one of his most famous poems, which includes "Sir": “Bring the pure wine of/love and freedom./But sir, a tornado is coming./More wine, we'll teach this storm/A thing or two about whirling.”

On the other hand, it's possible that this is all a big ruse, and the Carters are just messing with us? Either way, there's no way the Bey Hive or major fans of Jay-Z are going to fully believe that these are the babies' names until the couple confirms it.
