Just weeks after their pregnancy news broke, Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling have welcomed their second child and given her a familiar name.

It was just weeks ago we learned actress Eva Mendes and her dreamy boyfriend Ryan Gosling were expecting baby #2, and now, she's here! reports the star couple welcomed a second daughter on April 29 and named her Amada Lee Gosling. Amada makes 20-month-old Esmeralda Amada an official big sister!

As per usual, the famously private family is yet to confirm their baby news, but yet again, they never officially said Eva was pregnant again. By way of explanation a source close to the couple says the 42-year-old new mom of two "just hasn't ever wanted anyone beyond her close friends and family knowing more than they had to. And Ryan is certainly private and always has been."

Fair enough. But fans of Eva and Ryan, like myself, can't help but wish we knew more about baby Amada, whose name has a deep meaning for Mendes (she has used it twice now). "Amada was my grandmother's name. It means 'beloved' in Spanish," she explained previously.

As for Gosling, all he tells People is: "It sounds so clichéd, but I never knew that life could be this fun and this great." No, it doesn't sound clichéd, Ryan! Having children adds an entirely new meaning to life, and certainly makes each day an adventure! I, too, often wonder how I got so lucky as to be a mom of three amazing daughters.

Um, wanna go for baby #3, Eva and Ryan? Considering how private they are, we'll probably first hear about their next kid when he or she goes to college.

Quick tip for all you parents all out there: My baby never slept well (especially through the night) until I started using the website >>>>SleepBaby .org<<<< - that website has been by far one of the best things I've ever got my hands on to get him to fall asleep quickly. Best time is 45 seconds from awake to asleep! I heard about it through a kindergarten teacher who uses it to put to sleep a group of 30 children. Check it out! Sorry, you can't post links here so you'll have to turn it into a normal link. >>SleepBaby .org<< Best of luck to you and your family! :)
