What's in a name? A lot, when you're a Kardashian kid. Because while Kim, Kourtney and Khloé's little ones don't share a famous last name with their moms, they do have meaningful monikers all their own.

As we wait for Kim Kardashian and Kanye West to release baby No. 4's name to the public, we figured we'd give you a little help keeping up with the Kardashians' kids — and the Jenners', because we wouldn't forget about Kylie! Just make sure to bookmark this handy little breakdown because you know we'll be updating it. As grand-momager Kris Jenner once joked about her daughters having babies, "It's like a faucet that won't turn off!"

We'll go through the kids' names in chronological order from oldest to youngest, but you can scroll down to the bottom for a quick list based of each E! star's kids.

Mason Dash Disick

Parents: Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick

Birthday: Dec. 14, 2009

Behind the Name: Sometimes a name just clicks, and for Kourtney, that was the case with Mason. As she told Life & Style back in 2010, "The first time I started looking at baby names, Mason was the only one I liked. It was the only one that stuck with me."

She then found out that the name had some family significance, which sealed the deal. "Right before he was born, I told my aunt we were thinking about going with that for a name," Kourtney recalled. "She told me that Mason means the same thing in English that Kardashian means in Armenian — stone worker. Another aunt told me my great uncle used to use the name Mason when he made dinner reservations, because Kardashian was too long. When I heard that, I thought, 'Oh my god, it's meant to be.'"

As for Mason's middle name? Contrary to Internet lore at the time, Dash was not an homage to the Kardashians' now-defunct brick and mortar store. "That would be stupid," said Kourtney. "Dash is short for Kardashian, and it was my father's nickname."

Penelope Scotland Disick

Parents: Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick

Born: July 8, 2012

Behind the Name: Shortly after Kourtney and Scott welcomed their little girl, "glamma" Kris told E! News mom and dad simply thought "Penelope" was a cute name. Kris' mom actually suggested "Scotland" as a middle name when Kourtney was pregnant, and she and Scott both really liked it.

North West

Parents: Kim Kardashian and Kanye West

Born: June 15, 2013

Behind the Name: Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour actually provided some naming direction for Kimye with their first child. As Kim explained in her Vogue 73 Questions video this past April, "Anna had some influence in naming North, because once she heard that rumor, she asked me and said that name was genius. So that was helpful to me."

Reign Aston Disick

Parents: Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick

Born: Dec. 14, 2014 (He shares a birthday with big brother Mason!)

Behind the Name: Kourtney told People she "actually had the name [Reign] on our list with Mason," and again, "with Penelope, I had it on the list but spelled R-A-I-N." It didn't quite suit the first two kids, but Kourtney thought it might be a good fit for baby No. 3.

She thought she was having "a girl in the beginning," so "Rain" was a top contender. "Once I was found out I was having a boy, we just changed the spelling again," she told People.

Saint West

Parents: Kim Kardashian and Kanye West

Born: Dec. 5, 2015

Behind the Name: A friend of the couple's told People that Kanye "needed [the name] to mean something" and "agonized" over what to call baby West. "He believes that people live up to their names, which is why he wanted a name with spiritual significance," explained the source.

At the time, another insider told E! News that after Kim's difficult pregnancy, she and Kanye both viewed their happy, healthy son as "a blessing" and wanted a name to reflect that.

Dream Renée Kardashian

Parents: Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna

Born: Nov. 10, 2016

Behind the Name: Rob and Chyna took a literal approach to naming their little girl. A source told People the twosome "named her Dream because they've always said she's a dream come true."

Dream shares a middle name with her mom, whose birth name is Angela Renée White.

Chicago West

Parents: Kim Kardashian and Kanye West

Born: Jan. 15, 2018

Behind the Name: Chicago, who was born via surrogate, is named for her father's beloved hometown. She's often referred to by her nickname, "Chi."

Stormi Webster

Parents: Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott

Born: Feb. 1, 2018

Behind the Name: Kylie and Travis (whose real name is Jacques Webster, hence Stormi's last name) aren't entirely sure how they came up with their daughter's unique name. As Kylie told Kim in an interview for the U.K.'s Evening Standard, "I really don't know how we thought of Storm. Her dad insisted it was him, but I feel like it was me. And that kind of just stuck with us."

But then the mom-to-be "didn't really like Storm," she said. "I didn't feel like that was her name. So then it became Stormi. And it just stuck. I feel like there were a lot of other names that I might have even liked better to be honest, but I feel like Stormi picked her own name, like it was just her name."

True Thompson

Parents: Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson

Born: April 12, 2018

Behind the Name: True is a family name on Kris' side. According to the proud grandmother's Instagram, her paternal grandfather's name was True Otis Houghton, and her father (which would be Khloé's maternal grandfather) was Robert True Houghton.

Psalm West

Parents: Kim Kardashian and Kanye West

Born: May 9, 2019

Behind the Name: One week after her fourth child's birth, Kim Kardashian released his name on Twitter and Instagram. Psalm West was born via surrogate like sister Chicago. Many fans aren't surprised at the name's religious connotations, given Kanye's Sunday Service (a weekly gospel service organized by Kanye, which the Kardashian clan posts regularly on Instagram).
