We may only be four months into the year, but it's never too soon to talk about popular baby names! Given data from the U.S. Census Burea, the Social Security Administration, Webster's Unabridged Dictionary, Wikipedia, Wiktionary, and more, the team at Names.org is already predicting the Top 10 Most Popular Baby Names in 2018.

When it comes to top Baby Boy Names, the new report asserts that Noah and Liam are predicted to remain in the top two spots. But monikers that are considered "on the rise" include Benjamin, Oliver, Elijah and Lucas. The site also highlighted trendy names which could soon to make their way into the Top 10: Jaxon, Grayson, and Aiden.

As for the top baby girl names of 2018, Olivia, Emma, and Ava remain in the top three. However, Charlotte, Mia, Harper, and Amelia are all on the rise. The names that are right there on the cusp of making it into the Top 10 are Ella, Sophia, and Zoey.

The site notes that the predictions are based on Social Security data on actual births in recent years combined with user interest on Names.org, given that Social Security does not release 2017 totals until summer.
