Jodi A. Mindell, Ph.D., DBSM, is the associate director of the Sleep Center at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and a professor of psychology at Saint Joseph's University.


Dr. Mindell has written extensively on pediatric sleep disorders with over 100 publications and over 300 presentations at national and international conferences. She has been interviewed and quoted in multiple online and print publications, including The New York Times, New Yorker, BBC, Wall Street Journal, and Fatherly. She has made multiple appearances on news programs, including the Today Show and Good Morning America, as well as frequently interviewed on radio shows and podcasts, including NPR, One Bad Mother, and Zero to Three.

She also has been on the Board of Directors of the National Sleep Foundation, a foundation established to educate the public about sleep and sleep disorders, and the Sleep Research Society.


Dr. Mindell received her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of Albany and completed her internship at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. She is board-certified in behavioral sleep medicine.
