A: That's a great trick for Houdini, not so good for a little kid. Obviously, since she's not quite at age at which reasoning is going to make the difference, you need a gadget. There's a product called Buckle Guard that, hopefully, will challenge Houdini to the point where the escape tricks will halt. It sells for about $16 to a set of two on Amazon.com. It works kind of like a lot of child-proofing tools by creating an access point that a kid can't figure or isn't strong enough to use. I've never seen one in use other than in photos, so please report back how it went if you decided to give it a try. Good luck.
