Kids are one of our main concerns when we think about the flu every year because flu can be very serious and children can even lead to hospitalization. Also, kids are more likely to get the flu because their immune systems aren't as developed as ours or as adults. For this reason, kids are really one of the targets both for the flu vaccine and for education. These things aren't covering your cough and washing your hands and using the hand hygiene. I get my kids vaccinated every year for two reasons, I don't want them to get sick and I don't want them getting grandma sick because grandma might not handle the flu as well as an adult like myself would.
