There is much to do before your baby arrives, so you will wanna get the best possible estimate of the big day. I am Dr. Obosa Osawe. Here is how to calculate your due date. A healthy pregnancy will last about 40 weeks or 280 days from the first day of your last period. To calculate your due date, count 280 days from the first day of your most recent period. Your doctor will be able to help you calculate your due date or you can visit parents.com/due-date. Remember, your due date is only an approximation. Only 5% of women will give birth when they think they will. Your past childbirth history or even your mother's childbirth history may be a clue as to when you will go into labor. Now that you know approximately when the big day is, you can start thinking about baby names, shop for baby gear and get pumped about the new arrival.
